Thermal Spray Uses

Thermal spraying is a revolutionary technology that satisfies the requirements
demanded by a range of surface processing applications, including anti-erosion,
corrosion and chemical resistance, insulation, and others. Accordingly, it is used in
a wide range of industrial fields.

Anti-Erosion

By using ceramic, cermet (a ceramic-metal composite) or other materials in thermal
spraying, it is possible to greatly increase the resistance to wear.

Primary Applications

Disc cutters used in tunnel excavation, marine exhaust valves, sliding parts used in
construction equipment, dry screws, industrial rolls, etc.

Electrical Insulation

It is possible to provide electrical insulating properties to conductive substrates by
applying an insulating coating.

Insulating substrates for vehicles, insulating coatings for highly functional
temperature control devices, semiconductor manufacturing equipment parts,

Improved Grip Strength

Far-Infrared Emitter

Thermal Insulation
